About this service
A working tool room, not a job-shop front end: the machines and the people who run them are on a GTTC campus and have been training machinists on them for years. Send a dimensioned drawing (PDF) plus a STEP file. Tolerances are held to ±0.05 mm as standard on machined features; tighter is possible and is quoted per feature rather than blanket-applied to the whole part, because a blanket tolerance is how a simple bracket ends up costing like a die. First-article inspection with a dimensional report is included on any batch of ten or more.

Frequently asked
What do you need to quote?
A STEP file and a dimensioned PDF drawing that marks the critical dimensions and their tolerances. A model on its own cannot tell us which of forty dimensions actually matters, and quoting all of them tight is how a part gets needlessly expensive.
Is there a minimum quantity?
No. One-offs and prototypes are normal work here — a good part of the tool room's day is single fixtures and gauges.
Can you work from a physical sample?
Yes, we can reverse-engineer and produce a drawing for your approval before machining. That drawing step is quoted separately and is yours to keep.
